<div dir="ltr"><font color="#000000" size="2" face="Tahoma">Hi guys,</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">I have a new single site small install coming up with UC 8.5 (CM, Presence & Connection) which will be integrated with AD. They have their telephony field in AD poulated with the full E164 number (ie +35315551234).
</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">The Telco (E1) does <u>not</u> accept E164 outgoing and only sends 4-digit called number (ie 1234) for incoming calls.</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">I am looking for advice & gotchas for setting this up as I've never used the full E164 as the telephony field before.
</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">For CM should I translate to E164 on the gateway & have the Phone DNs with the full E164 or just leave it as 4 digit DNs and just do internal translations?</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">Presence & Unity Connection will also be AD integrated.............</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">This is probably simple enough but just have the fear of the unknown & only have a small window to get the up and running so want to avoid as many pitfalls as possible</font></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma"></font> </div>
<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">Cheers</font></div>
