well they're all configured because they're part of the cluster
if you want to disable the software media resources, go to serviceability, select the proper server(S) and then look for the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming App service and either stop the service or de-activate the service
if you don't start the CallManager service, that server will not work as a call agent, however it will have a copy of the configuration though

hth

2011/7/11 PG <pgciscovoip@gmx.net>

I am currently installing a cluster with 11 nodes (8 subscriber, 2TFTP and 1 Pub)

Now, i haven't activated any services, but in CM Unifed CM i see all servers configured. I thought the CMs are only (auto-)configured as soon as i start CCM-service?

Also, i have now 11 MOH-servers, 11 CFB and 11 MTP-server although i haven't activated any Media Service on the nodes?

Can i delete the CMs, MOH, CFB, and MTP servers that i dont want to use or should the be kept in the datebase?

Any problems with TAC-support when 11 CMs are configured, but only 8 are used?

Thanks in advance.
