With 8.5.2, our 7970 phones set for max brightness on a switch capable
of providing 15.4 watts are full brightness.

Installing anything in the 9.0 train makes them fully dim! To get max
brightness the user actually has to "back off" one step on the phone
brightness menu. That's not going to work over 1000's of phones.
Putting 8.5.2 back on them makes them fully bright again.
back and forth on inanity.
