<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:#1F497D">I think this may sort of be possible, if you start the upgrade process and get to the part where you are uploading your browsing session can time out and you can come back later and “assume control”.
 I don’t know if this will last forever but that’s the only option I can think of. Albeit if you use FTP and have a server close to the CCMs even a 4gb file only takes 5-10 minutes in my recent experience</span></p>
