<p>I have a customer who is on an expansion tear and the 4 digit dial plan that was implemented almost 5 years ago pre-me is reaching capacity.
</p>
<p>What I would like to do is take every DN and prepend 1 or 2 digits to it, possibly based on the Device Pool of the phone it is assigned to or the first digit of the existing DN. My general thought is basically to add what I will tell the users is an internal
area code.</p>

<p>Is there an easy way to do something like this? A SQL query or axl something? While I understand programming to an extent. I don't have the ability to write something from scratch so examples are welcome or suggestions of better ways to handle this type
of scenario. I've never had to do something like this before and I want to keep it simple but give me plenty of room to grow. I know some people advocate 10 digit extensions with transformation and translations to allow 4 digit type dialing but something of
the scope I feel may be beyond my capacity to handle.</p>
