SQL updates are certainly possible. AXL allows direct access to SQL queries so that's also viable. Both require programming. Less programming oriented with better set granularity may be phone export/import. Use BPS/BAT feature to export phones, modify as desired, and import.<div><br></div><div>/wes</div><div><br><div><div>On Sep 2, 2011, at 10:01 PM, Matthew Loraditch wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; font-family: Helvetica; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: -webkit-auto; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; font-size: medium; "><div fpstyle="1" ocsi="0"><div style="direction: ltr; font-family: Tahoma; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt; "><div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">I have a customer who is on an expansion tear and the 4 digit dial plan that was implemented almost 5 years ago pre-me is reaching capacity.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">What I would like to do is take every DN and prepend 1 or 2 digits to it, possibly based on the Device Pool of the phone it is assigned to or the first digit of the existing DN. A SQL query or axl something? While I understand programming to an extent. I don't have the ability to write something from scratch so examples are welcome or suggestions of better ways to handle this type of scenario. I've never had to do something like this before and I want to keep it simple but give me plenty of room to grow. I know some people advocate 10 digit extensions with transformation and translations to allow 4 digit type dialing but something of the scope I feel may be beyond my capacity to handle.</div><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "> </p><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Thanks for any and all assistance.</div><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "> </p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "> </p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "> </p><div style="font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 13px; "><div><font size="2" face="Tahoma"><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(36, 64, 97); font-size: 11pt; "><strong>Matthew Loraditch, CCVP, CCNA, CCDA</strong><br>1965 Greenspring Drive</span></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; "><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(36, 64, 97); font-size: 11pt; "><font size="2" face="calibri">Timonium, MD 21093</font><br><a tabindex="0" href="mailto:support@heliontechnologies.com" target=""><span style="color: rgb(36, 64, 97); ">support@heliontechnologies.com</span></a><br>(p) (410) 252-8830<br>(F) (443) 541-1593<br><br>Visit us at<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><a tabindex="0" href="http://www.heliontechnologies.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: rgb(36, 64, 97); ">www.heliontechnologies.com</span></a><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br>Support Issue?
