Everything works fine.

Once and a while (still trying to figure out what causes it, what fixes it) backups fail. When I try to test using the same account using WinSCP, it gives me the following error:

"Upload of file <filename> was successful, but error occurred while setting the permissions and/or timestamp"

After three or four days, it resolved itself the last time. But I'd really like to know whats causing it and how to fix it.

I suspect it's due to me restarting the server that holds the storage. The root directory of the SFTP instance we're using is mounted remotely due to storage limits.

Anyone have any clues?

---
Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A.
Senior Analyst (CCS) * University of Guelph * Guelph, Ontario N1G 2W1
(519) 824-4120 x56354 (519) 767-1060 FAX (ANNU)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Cooking with unix is easy.
