The documentation was not very clear and required changing some values to get one port to be enabled/disabled.<br><br>Plus, the ATA187 is SIP only.<br><br>But, the price is cheaper. If you need 100, then it's worth the time to develop some procedures and learn the device and save money. If it's only one or two, I'd suggest the VG202. ports).</span></p>

how the 187 does in comparison, but I found the 186 to be very unreliable in terms of doing faxes.</span></p>
