<div dir="ltr">i'm running the new 9-4-1-9 code with CUCM 9.1.2 and 8961 phones. It seems like the 'Simplified New Call UI' option is not taking on the phone. I can set this setting to 'Enabled' in CUCM and reset the phone, yet it does not use the new Simplified New Call UI.<br>

dialing and the phone’s UI changes would drag behind. Due to the delay in UI transitions (on-hook to off-hook to digits displayed, etc.), users would often experience a prolonged audible tone for some key presses. In other cases, the phone would discard the

<p class="MsoNormal">Do you have a defect for the UI performance issue? There was a fix that went into 9.3(4)ES1 to help address digits being dropped when they are dialed quickly when another screen
is up (admin settings for example). Get TAC to give you 9.3(4)ES1 and see if that helps things. If not then work to get a bug identified.
