Hello,

Perhaps Dennis was too nice, or perhaps he feared that he would look like he was drumming up professional services for WWT. It doesn't matter, because he was trying to offer some good advice. As engineers, system administrators, etc., we all like to feel like we are up to whatever challenge is before us. However, we need to balance our desire to do whatever is put in front of us with taking on unacceptable risk. Based on the original email, I think there is a level of unacceptable risk here. Cisco customers deserve and ought to demand better expertise.

We have seen several people on this post trying to build professional services organizations without the tools necessary to do so. That is not fair to those of us who have spent years building up businesses, and it is not fair to customers who deserve to be served by organizations with the expertise to serve them well.

Feel free to disagree, but some of us may see you in the remediation later.

James

On Fri, Mar 28, 2014 at 5:27 PM, 0703Manjunath <winmanjunath@gmail.com> wrote:
