Setting the CSS on the first XLATE is exactly how you jump to a new pattern in a new partition*.<div><br></div><div>*In CUCM 10x, you can actually inherit the CSS from the calling party by checking the box on the XLATE labeled Use Originator's Calling Search Space.</div><div>Source: <a href="http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/collab10/collab10/dialplan.html#pgfId-1579862">CUCM 10x SRND</a><br><div><br></div><div>Assuming you have it setup correctly, one trick I learned at INE from Mark Snow is to set the XLATE Route Option to Block this pattern and then set the cause value to (122) Precedence Level Exceeded. Then, dial your digits again, and if you hear the nice lady saying that your call cannot be completed due to a precendence level issue, you have confirmed you are hitting the pattern. Do that first with the first XLATE, and then remove it, and then do it again to the second XLATE to confirm your hopping.</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Fri Nov 07 2014 at 10:24:42 AM Scott Voll <<a href="mailto:svoll.voip@gmail.com">svoll.voip@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">OK, I'm having a senior moment</span><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">How do I use a translation pattern to change to a different partition.</div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">example</div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">I have an extension 8888 in the phones partition </div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">I want to create a translation from 8888 in EM partition and have it redirect to 8888 in the phones partition.</div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">I Can't figure out how to do that inside the Translation pattern.
