Your Extreme switch is essentially having issues with L3, as in , it
cannot handle the amount of L3 entries in the IPFDB that you are trying
to make it handle.
I've seen this quite a few times and the solution is to replace the
Summit 300-48 with another Summit 48si or put a different L3 box on the
Summit 300 as a "router on a stick" type of implementation. If you have
another 48si laying around it might be a good idea to simply plug that
in the 300's place and give it a shot. The 48si is a much more capable
L3 box than the 300.
If you search through Extreme's support website there are numerous
"fixes" for this, its POSSIBLE that you could attempt to upgrade your
switch to a newer version of software and it may be fixed, but I'm going
to guess that you are going to have to put a different switch in its
place.

Hello,
We have a fiber ring within 2 summit48si and 1 Summit300-48, we are
using
ospf routing protocol and sometimes we lost communication to some
networks,
even if the network is on the ospf database and it?s appear on the
forwardind database (show ipfdb), but we are receiving this error on the
summit300-48, how can i solve this problem? Is this error related to my
issue?
