Hi Marcin,

That mean that you will never be able to upgrade the list of unsupported switches and that they will not be able to get the new feature available in 12.5 (like M-Lag, XNV,..).

In case of your stack, you will need to split your stack...

Fabian.

Subject: [e-nsp] XOS 12.5 and some ?unsupported? hardware ?

hello,

look here:
The following hardware is no longer supported in ExtremeXOS 12.5.1:
● BlackDiamond 8800 original series modules:
- G48T
- G48P
- G24X
- 10G4X
ExtremeXOS 12.5.1 Release Notes
9
● Summit family switches
- Summit X450-24x
- Summit X450-24t
- XGM-2xn module

well, I have a stack that consists of 2xX650 + X450-24x (no A)

What do they mean that is no longer supported ?? That some features
might not be available or it will not start at all ??

Currently I have 12.4 on X450 (and X650) and it works fine, however I
haven't seen release notes for 12.4 and if there is also the same
limitation.
The only thing that fails is diagnostics, but on 12.3 it passes so it is
release problem.

anyone having some release notes for 12.3 and 12.4 to compare
unsupported hardware ?

Regards,
Marcin
