Greetings,

We have nodes in outside cabinets distributed throughtout the city.  We
are looking at a low speed Sprint wireless solution.  A "Bandit" box at
each location will give up to 4 serial ports plus contact closure.  The
low speed data option is ~$5 per node.  Not sure what quantity you need
for that pricing, but much cheaper than a 1FB.

	Cisco 2509's do well in this instance. Put the dialup modem on
it, and then you can connect the 2509 to multiple FI's. There are
applications out there that then can log while your away, and then give
you back access when you need it.
