Hello Mike,

I'm no Foundry expert, but I would look at how your CAM distribution is
currently configured. You provided this:

Which would concern me.

What does your output of 'show ip route sum' and 'show ip bgp sum' show?
I assume that you could quite easily have more than 140,000 bgp paths as
the global DFZ is now well over 220,000 prefixes.

Depending on what sort of routing table vs filtering needs you have, you
can reallocate the CAM resources for more routes or more filters or
similar. I have some SuperX+PREM that default to only 80000 routes, so I
ran into this.

I don't need all of the more specifics from the default free zone, so I
elected to only raise the number of routes to 150,000 which currently
meets our needs.

SSH at er1-1.1-1.lax1#sh run | inc max
system-max ip-route 150000
SSH at er1-1.1-1.lax1#sh ip route sum

   8 connected, 5 static, 0 RIP, 16 OSPF, 116332 BGP, 0 ISIS, 0 MPLS

I don't know if this is your exact issue, but it may be something to look
into.

cheers!

Brad
