It's a BigIron 4000 with B4GMR4. I managed to find a PDF of the 
documentation today which was informative on a number of fronts, if just 
barely scratched (and I hate being a luser asking questions when I 
haven't RTFM'd, but there's just not been the time and resources 
allocated to me in advance - I really do appreciate the assistance of all).

I did get one private response in particular with some pretty good 
config examples that are going to get me through it. A Ve interface is 
used in that, so I'm guessing that both approaches may be feasible. When 
we have our config operational I'll post back an abstract of the methods 
used for the benefit of archives.
