[f-nsp] Bigiron RX4 - IPV6 causing out of nexthop entries

Thanks for your reply.

I take it that you were doing ECMP then, and have had to disable it? We
weren't doing any, but I tried the command anyway just in case and it
seems to be the default, and unfortunately made no difference.


I do have some news now though so thought I'd add to the thread for the
benefit of others.

It seems we are hitting this bug now, after fixing the previous one a
month ago.

Summary: IP "nexthop" depletion may occur when processing ipv6 traffic
before route convergence complete
Symptom: The customer RX log showed
Mar 25 21:36:49:I:INFO: Out of nexthop entries for path count 1 on slot 3.
Mar 25 21:36:47:I:INFO: Out of nexthop entries for path count 1 on slot 2.
after changing OSPF costs causing nexthop route recalculation
show ipv6 nexthop showed repeating prefix:
