Looks like twitter has some firmware issues too :-) It took a few hours to load the tweet.
Edgerouter had issues with handling extended length a few years ago did found this[1] when searching for my issue.
It seems that there are some holes in the RFC’s and the implementations of the BGP protocol differ pretty much for each vendor even if it should not.
