Thanks to all who answered including private mails.
It was not a problem of wrong module type in configuration etc.
I've downgraded IronWare to 5.2 and now modules are ok:

we were facing the same problem with a BR-MLX-10Gx4-X card in an XMR
chassis. The card constantly rebooted after the message<br>

rw2_cpu_pkt_buf_init : rx_priority_mode set failed after 6 tries.<br>
<br>
We were running software 5.3.0b. We performed an upgrade to 5.3.0c
and after that all was fine:<br>
