<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">Took me a while to get used to this do. The ‘secondary’ parameter has a different meaning in Foundry then it does in Cisco. On a Cisco device, ‘secondary’ means
that you want to put an additional IP on an interface. On a Foundry device, this is used to have more than 1 IP from the SAME subnet on the interface. If you want to add an IP from a different subnet on the Foundry device, you just add it without the secondary
command. So, in your example, the command would be “ip address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 255.255.255.0”.
