<div>+1 here, running a single VDX6720 in L3
mode with OSPF for internal routing, static routes for internet
connectivity, and VRRP-e pre-configured in case I want to add a
second VDX to the fabric at a later point. It has been stable on
NOS3.0.1a for a few months now.<br>

You are best off running L3 on a VDX8770 or VDX6740; the former
has been GA for a while now, but the latter is still under
development. These two models were designed with L3 functionality
in mind while the VDX6720 was originally designed for L2 with its
routing functionality to be added a few years later. If you were
looking at a VDX6720 now, I'd recommend waiting a few months for
the VDX6740 release and buy that instead.<br>
