Proposed Heath WWW Reference Source

The reference would be a great resource to those of us still using
Heath Kit products. By the way, older kits used a special screw for
attaching sub-modules components and enclosures to a main chassis. A
flat that is axial to the threads has a hole therein for fastening
the screw to an adjacent component or sub-module wall. The threads
then pass through a mating hole on the chassis to receive a washer and
nut assembly thereunder. Does anyone know:
1.) The name of these types of screws; and
2.) A mail-order house where they can be purchased.

I don't think it's so much a case that Heath turned its back on the ham
fraternity. As I recall, when Zenith bought Heath, the small business
mentality was replaced by the usual corporate greed.
