Many thanks to those that prevented me from perpetuating a hoax.  In
particular, to Paul W8KC who did the research and determined that it was,
in fact, a hoax.  My apologies to the group and to the McKee family.

I've been on the Internet for many years, and very skeptical of most
things, so I certainly should have known better.  There was a child in my
QTH in a similar position & his request was legit.  Also, the request came
to me through a local net - not through the Internet.

Again, you have my apology & gratitude.
