HR-10B Audio Output Transformer

I'm looking for either an original part or the correct substitution for the
following:
Heatkit IM\2400 Frequency counter..  IC U-2  Original Heath part number is
442-698  the part is marked SL-952  it is in the prescaled side of the
counter.  The counter works however it has poor sensitivity on the
prescaled side.  I think this chip might be a pre-amp of some kind.  Anyone
can help????
