6146 tubes

While most of the info that has been put out is correct, keep in mind
that
many of the tubes out there under the 6146 number may not work properly
in the heathkit rigs. For many years, Heath sorted and re-marked the 6146
tubes they sold because some would not neutralize properly in the Heath
SB and HW series rigs. This was mainly a problem with 10 meters but could
be seen on other bands also. This was mainly do to element spacing and
internal capacitance.

Enjoy the "Green Boxes".  I still have an SB-102, HW 12, HW12A, HW-22
and an HW-32 in the Garage. Mess with them every once in a while but
really
don't like tubes much anymore.
