Need SX-28 Parts

I'm UPSing a SX-28A (I think) to the left coast and it needs a couple of
parts.  Specifically, the bottom cover, one of the large knobs, and the
shaft in the left (viewed from the front) tuning assembly.  The present
assembly is a little splined shaft that screws into the flywheel.  It
rotates inside another shaft that is connected to the tuning assembly.
Missing (at a minimum) is the part that has the flat side to which the knob
mounts.  Question?  How does the flywheel shaft connect to the end on which
the knob mounts?  How does  that shaft connect to the larger shaft that
actually turns the tuning condenser?
