What a response for a new group!
In my case my first Heathkit was the DX-40 I built in about
1959, and have always been impressed with that job. I have built a
variety of their audio equpment, both tube and solid state.
I have built several pieces of test equipment (and still have
most). Amateur rigs I have owned/worked on/operated include a
couple of DX-35's, DX-40's, DX-60/A/B's, SB-101, HW-101.
Current project is putting together a working DX-20 from three
junkers - got enough parts in the total; just need to get them all
together in the same cabinet! Anyone have a spare copy
of the DX-20 manual?
And greetings to all - hope I can be of help too...
