Hi Gang, just a note to say hello and state how pleased I am to see this
list start.
Have been a Heath user for many years and built my first kit in 1967 when I
returned from a tour in sunny southeast asia. A GR-295 Color Television. As
a first
kit it was a challenge and lo and behold, didn't take too long and had it up and
running. We used that set for many years.

Have quite a bit of Heath Ham Gear. Some I built and others have picked up. My
favorites at present are the SB 102 and HW 32 Monobander. Am trying to piece
together a complete SB lash up and am mostly there. Need a SB 640 Remote
VFO, A Scanalizer, and a Monitor Scope to complete it. Have the rest. Really get
a bang out of the SB 650 Digital Display. Those orange nixie tubes give off
a real
heartwarming glow and make the shack homey. Am also looking for a HW-12 or 12A
monobander. Am just amazed at how well those rigs work. Other needs are for
a manual copy for the DX 60 and meter or meter cover for same.

I guess one of thereasons I enjoy these rigs so much are the manuals. Thay
are so good
that even as fumble fingured as I am, I can usually get them up and running.
Presently waiting in the wings for a spot on the bench are a HW 101 and a
VHF 1 Seneca.

Well folks, thanks for the bandwidth. Keep those filaments hot. Its a real
pleasure
to join you on this list
