According to the "bible" , Chuck Penson says that there is an article in the
May, 1977 issue of QST regarding sidetone improvements. Hope this helps....

BTW, for those of you not familar with the "bible", there is a book written
by Chuck Penson....WA7ZZE...."Heathkit...A Guide to the Amateur Products" It
is the best Heath reference that I've ever seen.  Available from:
