I also have an HW-100 and had a brief discussion thread on QRP-L several
weeks back concerning ways to reduce the power for QRP operation (my
main interests).  The best recommendations came back stating to just
remove the 6146 finals and jumper over to the pi-network driectly from
the driver.  Haven't done it yet but feel pretty confident it'll do the
job.
