T 3 Signal Tracer

Hello All,
    I have a T 3 Signal Tracer that I have been using for years. I have
noticed some talk on the 309C RF Probe. Is this the type Probe that I
should be using? I never had the Probe when I bought the Tracer. I made a
Probe just using a .005 cap. It has been doing the job so for. Does
anyone have any sugestions on if I am using the right home brew probe?

    Also I could use a copy of the manual on the T 3 Tracer if anyone has
one.
