Need Info on Heath RF Transistors

Ron:
There is nothing especially magical about which transistors to
use. My older Motorola RF manual is at home so I can't look there to
see what they suggest as a cross. The blue Motorola books don't show
a cross for either of these transistors. Of course the 104 manual is
at home too. Throw an e-mail rock at me again to make sure I didn't
forget. This is likely a problem for other 104 owners. I'll look up
the power in and power out for these critters and find something in
Motorola that should work.

Heath sure did have a propensity to use off-the-wall
semiconductors.

The PT series of transistors were made by TRW. Motorola
bought them out sometime in the 80's and carried their transistors.
For a while (the blue and grey manual) listed both their transistors
and app notes along with the MRF series!

I am looking for a pair of CD-3342 or PT6619 RF transistors used in the
driver stage of the SB104. Heath listed the part number as 417-830. I
have been unable to locate a cross reference on either one of these part
numbers--can anyone help or know of an equivalent replacement and a
source?

Thanks,

Ron, AB5WG
