Older Heath Test Gear--The Audio Generators

AO-1     Sine or square wave coverage from 20-20,000 Hz in 3 ranges.
Variable 10-v output level @ 600-ohms impedance.  Thermistor-controlled
linearity, precision multiplier resistors.  Distortion less than 0.6%.
11 lbs.  1953 price:  $24.50.

AG-8     Extended Range unit:  18 Hz to 1 mHz.  5 continuously variable
output ranges, 600-ohm output impedance.  Distortion less than 0.4% from
100 Hz throughout the audible range.  11 lbs.  1953 price:  $29.50.

AG-9     "Made to order" for hi-fi use.  Quick, accurate selection of
low-distortion signals throughout the audio range.  3 rotary switches on
front panel allow selection of 2 significant figures and a multiplier
for setting the frequency.  Step-type output attenuator as well as a
continuously variable attenuaator.  Large 4 1/2" meter indicates output
in volts and db.  Attenuator operates in steps of 10db, corresponding to
the meter calibration.  Output ranges:  0-0.003, 0.10, 0.03, 0.1, 0.3,
1.0, 3.0 & 10-v RMS.  Load switch provides internal 600-ohm load or an
external load of higher impedance when required.  Output frequency
indicators are accurate within 5%.  Distortion less than 0.1 of 1% from
20 Hz to 20 kHz.  Oscillator frequency is selected entirely by
switching, ensuring accurate resettability.  8 lbs.  1957 price:
$34.50.  (I wish I had this one, instead of the AG-10 that I have.)

AG-9A     Three rotary switches select frequency to 2 significant
figures and a multiplier, allowing return to exact frequency previously
measured when making multiple measurements.  Range:  10 Hz to 120 kHz.
Less than 0.1% distortion from 20-20,000 Hz.  10 lbs.  1959 price:
$34.50.
