417-830 CD3342? or is it PT3342?

Ron at RTO Electronics tells me that the 3342 drivers (417-830) for
SB-104A's are available from Richardson Electronics at a steep price of
about $30 each (!), or should I say (@!#)?

I like the other gentleman's  (Ray Mack?) suggestion of running an
alternate in class A.
