Broken SB614 Monitor Scope

Need help troubleshooting my monitor. All voltages are okay. Focus and
intensity controls seem to work but the display is a blur or has blossomed.
Also turning the intensity control to the far left does not  cause the spot
(big) to disappear. Any ideas how to proceed? The troubleshooting chart says
the CRT might be bad? Any way to prove or disprove?
