Howdy ppl,
I was just reading through the 0-5 oscilloscope manual that Mr. Trent has
so graciuosly sent me and may have found a typo. It's in step 6 of the
assembly section, second sentence. "A wire to pin #7 on the 6SN7 tube
socket and to pin #2 on the first horizontal 6SN7 tube socket."
Shouldn't this read as follows.. "A wire to pin #7 on the 6SN7 tube socket
and to pin #2 on the first horizontal 6SH7 tube socket." ?????????
I know this may be getting picky, but typos, even the little ones, can send
a person to the looney bin trying to figure out what's going on. Anyone w/
experience w/ this manual please give me your input on this. Also, can
someone tell me the differences between a 6SH7 tube and a 6SJ7 tube? I am
dealing w/ a 0-3 sillyscope and using a 0-5 manual. I was wondering how
they differ and can I wire a 6SJ7 as if it was a 6SH7? One more thing, the
manual calls out for 'condensers'. I assume these are capacitors, just an
old term. I also asume I can replace these with Electrolytic? Thanks in
advance..
Aaron
