Subject: SB301 Saga (con't)

Now that the 301 is playing at full song, I've decided to tackle a few quirks in
the receiver.  The tuning knob resistance is much higher than that on the 401.
Also, the tuning comes to a mechanical halt at 3.004, 7.004, etc.  I'm missing
the bottom 5 kcs on each band.  I've looked at the manual assembly instructions
and can tackle both problems with it in hand, but wondered if anyone has some
insights on the best way to fix these problems.

Still searching for the hum in the 401, but that's another story.
