More Heath Mods that have appeared in older issues of QST:
1. Read either peak or average peak amplitude (PEP) with your Heath
HM-102 or 102A wattmeter(the units are identical except for the color
and the price, the 102A originally cost about $30 more than the 102).
See "PEP Wattmeter-a la Heath," Dec 76, pp. 30-31.
2. RIT for the HW-8: Hints & Kinks, Dec 78, p. 38; Feedback, Nov 77,
and the main article, "Full Break-in and RIT for the HW-8," by Ben
Saylor, Jul 77. Also see Hints & Kinks, Jan 78.
3. "Improving the SB-104A/SB-644A," Aug 79, pp. 28-31. Four mods that
add RIT, getrid of unwanted signals in the transmitter and receiver, and
cure talkback in the speaker or fones during SSB transmit. Be sure also
to read the mods to the mods: Feedback, Sep 79, p. 23, and Hints &
Kinks, May 80, pp. 41-42, before performing surgery!
4. "Adding RIT to the HW-104 or SB-104 Transceivers," Jan 80. p. 16.
5. "All Solid State QSK for the Heath SB-220," Jan 80, p. 25.

If these postings are useful, please let me know, and I'll continue the
research. If not, I don't want to waste bandwidth on them. How about
it?
