Needed for !D-4001 Weather Station

I need the microprocessor for the ID-4001. It is part # 444-23 or replaced
by MK3870. I've tried Spectrum electronics and they don't have it. I would
appreciate any help in either locating a part source or someone who wants
to sell a working ID-4001 or one that has a working microprocessor.

Someone suggested it might be possible to copy the program from a working
chip and transfer to a new chip. Does anyone have access to the original
code?
