Fellow Heath-ens:

For the possible benefit of new list subscribers and those who may have
missed my posting on this subject of several weeks ago, I submit the
following info:

                         The Ham Price Guide
                         By Eugene Rippen
                         P.O. Box 9
                         Auburn, CA 95604

This, as Eugene himself points out, is NOT the equivalent of the
Automobile Blue Book, but it certainly will give a buyer or seller a
starting point for negotiation on many types of gear, including a
massive list of Heath equipment. One should read carefully the first
page of the book, where Gene explains how he arrived at the prices
shown.

I can't recall what it cost me, but it wasn't much. Anyone who trades,
buys or sells equipment will find it invaluable, and it is small enough
to take with you to Hamfests and the like.

I have no interest, pecuniary or otherwise, in this publication. It's
just that I have found it so useful, and I continually see people
posting to the list asking for valuation on items, therefore this
posting.

73, Keith
