SB101 or SB102?

Hi John,
About the ONLY differance between the SB-101 & -102 is that the -102 had
a transistorized LMO whereas the -101 (& -100) had a tube-type. Also the
-102 used a 6HS6 RF Ampl instead of a 6AU6. The 6AU6 of the -101 can be
directly replaced with a 6HS6 with a remarkable increase in sensitivity -
making the LMO the only differance. Heath claimed that the -102 drifted
less but I never saw either one drift much!!
Hope this helps --
