SB-640 Repair

Bought a really nice SB-640 to fill out the SB-series set. It's about a 9
or better if you ignore the push button switch installed in the front panel
for zero beating. But that's not the biggest problem.
LMO and front panel do not align properly which results in not being able to
use the calibrator process. Someone put washers under the spade screws to
lift up the LMO. Good idea but not enough lift. LMO needs to come up a
little bit higher but impossible with current spade screws. Any suggestions
out there to solve this problem? Before you ask, I don't want to sell,
trade or giveaway the SB-640 although an offer of a super Zenith
TransOceanic 7000 series might cause me to think twice. :o)
Thanks in advance and 73,
gary
