Hi All,
The heating element, (made by GE), is imbedded it the tip so it will be
nearly impossible to make a tip unless you have some very advanced
manufacturing capabilities. Thats why I mentioned in an earlier response
to the original tip question that it is possible to just wire in a weller
ac powered handle and still use the adjustable heat feature of the original
iron. It won't be original heath but It will still be usable instead of
just looking at it as a museum piece. My Heath iron which I built from a
kit is un-usable because I also cannot find the heating element type tips.
