Tnx fer SB-102 ALC help, all!

What a great list :)     Within 24 hours of my post, I received half a
dozen suggestions of specific things to check, as well as a better circuit
description than the manual had for my ALC problem.
After finding a popped diode (besides the one I'd seen die a fiery death),
and cleaning up a few questionable solder joints from when I built this rig
in 1970, suddenly I've got more ALC indicated than ever before.  And one
fellow is faxing me the two pages that never got printed when my manual
came out of Benton Harbor, so I'll have the missing Troubleshooting
section.
