60V 1.5A supply IP-2700

Hi, all
     I bought a IP 2700 power supply at a swap meet today. It pours out
smoke when turned on, so I guess thats bad news (doesnt work), but its
also good news (transformer is probably good, since the smoke didnt come
from it). Anyway, as usual theres no manual. Can anyone help? I dont
need construction data, just schematic, cal, and user type data. Also,
if anyone knows of weaknesses that need to modified, etc. Thanks for any
help.
