Dial linearity - Good news this time!

Dear Paul OM...

Well, I'm afraid I may need a bit "...hot Heath chicken soup" to answer a
few questions on the linearity of my SB-300...

The cursor is almost to the far LH side on 40-meters, & to the far RH sde
on 80-meters. I ran out of signal at about 3.507 MHz, too, until I swapped
in different 6AU6's at the LMO, & adjusted (slightly) that adjustable slug
(coil?) with the red nail polish all over it (to discourage tweaking, I
would assume)...

Pity Heath didn't provide an access hole for adjustment of the trimmer /
padder in their tube LMOs---unless I'm doing something completely wrong...?

Anyway, glad YOUR problem was resolved---yes, this Heath reflector is an
absolute GOLD MINE of information & experience, some times just waiting to
get extracted! Hi Hi.
