USING A VF-1 W/DX-40

Hi Greenies,
I would like to get a VF-1 to use with my DX-40, but I notice in the
VF-1 manual that it is wired for an AT-1 XMTR. The manual states
further, "With any other transmitter, simple adapters can be used to
obtain the necessary connections." Does anyone remember or have any
information that would guide me to hook the VF-1 to the DX-40?

Oh yeah, I'm still looking for a nice VF-1!
