OT: Vertical Antenna question

Due to space limitations I plan to try a vertical.
I currently have a TV ant on top of a 10' mast
strapped to the chimney. I wonder if dropping the TV
ant to chimney level and placing the vertical on top
would work out. It would leave about 5-6' of mast section between the
tv ant and the vertical up on top.

Also I can't use one with long radials due to the way
the power lines approach the house. Any suggestions?
