Hi Sean!

Well, this may or may not be the radio in question,
but my 1970 catalog shows the GR-43A at $149.95.
This was a 16 transistor, 6 diode set. 10 bands
including AM and FM; shortwave 2 to 22.5 MHz;
marine and aircraft both apparently on the
longwave band--150 to 400 KHz.

In 1970, this is the only set that seems to meet
your description.

Our best,

Rev Allen, KJ6XH
