VTVM Mod

Another option for this was presented in an article I came across a few
months ago.  Can't recall where, and can't find it, (what memory?.)

Anyway, the mod used an LM310 to replace the 12AU7 and a couple of diodes
for the 6AL5.  Power supply became a pair of 9 volt batteries.  Looked like
a properly designed circuit, and would make a "portable" VTVM (ICVM?) with
the added benefit of eliminating that **DANGEROUS**  AC line cord!?!?.
